Join LCRG as we help celebrate hispanic culture at First Friday in Johnson City May 4!
Little City mock Running of the Bulls!
Corazon Latino is a wonderful festival of all things latin and Little City will be there with bells on!
In fact, we will be wearing HORNS!
Recreating the famous Pamplona, Spain Running of the Bulls, Corazon Latino and Little City are teaming up for an East Tennesssee re-creation!
Little City Rollergirls will be in full bout skating gear plus TWO new items!
1) Horns mounted to their helmets! (Fun!)
2) Foam bats. (Uh Oh!)
Participants known as “Runners” can sign up 6-6:30. They will need to sign a waiver.
At 6:30pm, on Main Street the runners will be put on notice to line up at the starting line, then the Bulls will be released! LCRG will skate through the crowd goring them with horns and whacking them with foam bats until they reach the finish line!
The excitement of chasing down our fans and beating them with foam bats is enough for us, so this event is totally FREE!!
Next Month, June 1 and 2 Little City will be BACK in Downtown Johnson City with it’s largest event to date! The Little City Blue Plum Roller Derby Championship will be a two-day exposition of derby skill and culture! Which of the Little City home teams will win the coveted Blue Plum Cup?
